What is DPC ?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a monthly membership agreement you make directly with us (your doctor). We offer compassionate, quality, healthcare directly to you. It does not involve insurance claims. Instead of premiums, deductibles, and copays, one upfront monthly fee covers the vast majority of your family’s healthcare needs. DPC practices are based on the trust relationship between a physician and family, rather than insurance company rules. Great question! The analogy is that you have car insurance, but you don’t use it for routine oil changes or at the pump. How long are my appointments?
The average doctor is able to spend 7-10 minutes with their patients. DPC members are able to enjoy an average 30 - 60 minutes with their doctor, never feeling rushed.
What if I need labs/imaging?
For additional medical needs—such as imaging and lab work—you’ll receive access to exclusive Pro Med Physicians DPC pricing that we’ve pre-negotiated with local vendors. In many cases, these cash rates are typically drastically lower than your copay.
Can I call anytime? For anything?
We have guidelines about after-hours and emergency calls. One of our goals is to provide outpatient care for you and avoid Urgent Care or Emergency Department visits whenever possible. We are available outside of office hours, for your urgent care needs.
Are you having emergency symptoms?
Chest pain, trouble breathing, the worst headache of your life, or a bone is sticking out of your body, or the equivalent.
